In 2022, Mr. Pryor and Priscilla DeGois represented a trauma surgeon who performed an emergency appendectomy for a minor patient. The patient alleged the appendectomy resulted in complications and subsequent surgery to remove a portion of her bowel. Despite overwhelming sympathy for the patient, Mr. Pryor and Ms. DeGois proved to the jury that the surgeon performed the appendectomy in accordance with current medical standards, and that the complication occurred in the absence of negligence.

In 2019, Mr. Pryor and Ms. DeGois represented a urologist who allegedly failed to diagnose invasive, profound trauma from impalement by a garden tool. The patient sought $3,000,000 in damages.  After more than a month of trial, Mr. Pryor and Ms. DeGois proved to the jury that the urologist complied with the standard of care and obtained a unanimous verdict in favor of the urologist.

Mr. Pryor’s interests include year-round swimming in San Francisco Bay, fly-fishing with his dog in the Sierras, reading, playing baseball, and cooking.
