In July 2025, Priscilla DeGois and Virgil Pryor achieved a 11-1 verdict in favor of an orthopedic surgeon in a case involving nerve injury following hip replacement and revision surgery. After a month-long trial, the jury deliberated for approximately an hour and returned a defense verdict, declining to award any portion of plaintiff’s alleged $2.5 million in damages. The jury found that plaintiff’s alleged injuries were the result of well-documented complications which arose despite the surgeon’s extensive training, expertise, and sound surgical technique.
